Copeeks is pleased to have been awarded an Innov’Space prize (1 star) on july 11th, for their new multi-farming category (poultry, cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs) for their RO’PEEK prototype.
The RO’PEEK solution, an automated and autonomous robotic tool for the permanent monitoring of animal or plant production areas under cover.
Agricultural buildings are evolving to meet new societal and environmental expectations. They adapt to climatic hazards, evolve towards new, more open architectures in order to comply with standards (openings, outdoor courtyards, covered areas, outdoor access, etc.).
With fewer separations (walls, partitions, …) and a higher ceiling height, automatic aerial tools can be deployed to map in real time the atmosphere and the placement of animals.
RO’PEEK can be installed and operated quickly and easily. The tool is self-contained and calibrates itself on the cable to map the entire physical space below dedicated to production.
The tool moves repeatedly and continuously along its guide. The rotating camera captures information on both sides of the cable during the day and at night (infrared vision). By automatic image analysis and sensor data, an in-depth spatio-temporal knowledge of the production area is achieved.
